Promoting the development of rural industry towards modernity and sustainability (Vietnamese)
According to Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Hong Thanh, during 2026–2030, the province will synchronously implement six key groups of tasks to support rural industrial establishments in enhancing production capacity, innovating technology, and expanding product markets.
A central focus will be on supporting the development of technical demonstration models, technology transfer, and the application of advanced machinery in industrial and handicraft production. Priority will be given to models in agro-forestry-fishery processing, high-tech applications, and circular production approaches, contributing to sustainable poverty reduction in disadvantaged areas. Funding for this component is estimated at VND 27.1 billion, the largest share of the programme.
In addition, the programme will promote rural industrial products through trade fairs, exhibitions, and domestic and international trade connectivity, while supporting brand building, trademarks, traceability, and e-commerce development, with a budget of over VND 7.1 billion.
Regarding investment promotion, the province will organise conferences and seminars to attract investment to industrial clusters, while supporting environmental treatment in these clusters and in rural industrial facilities, with a budget of VND 3 billion.
The programme also prioritises the development of high-quality human resources, enhancing management capacity, and providing consultancy support for rural industrial establishments. This includes vocational training, business management training, digital transformation, start-up support, and advanced technical training linkages, with funding of VND 760 million.
Meanwhile, communication and information consultancy for rural industrial development will receive VND 380 million, focusing on television programmes, publications, digital platforms, and legal and market information support for enterprises.
To ensure effective implementation, the programme will strengthen organisational capacity for industrial promotion activities through staff training, infrastructure investment, and increased application of information technology and digital transformation in management, with a budget of VND 1.6 billion.
The total funding for the 2026–2030 industrial promotion programme is VND 67.1 billion, comprising VND 40 billion from the provincial budget allocated annually and VND 27.1 billion from beneficiary units.
The programme is expected to create momentum for the modern development of rural industry in Tay Ninh, enhance value-added production, contribute to economic restructuring, and generate employment in the locality./.
