Tay Ninh priotizes smart city development linked to digital transformation (Vietnamese)

Accordingly, the development of smart cities in Tay Ninh will be implemented synchronously, closely linked to the province's digital transformation program, science and technology development, and innovation program for the period 2025–2030. The Provincial People's Committee identifies the project as a long-term task, playing an important role in managing sustainable urban development.

The Department of Construction is assigned as the focal agency to advise the Provincial People's Committee on the implementation of Government Decree No. 269/2025/ND-CP on smart city development, to lead the review, creation, or adjustment of the provincial-level smart city development plan, to guide the integration of smart city content into urban planning, and to organize the updating of data into the urban development database system as prescribed by the Ministry of Construction.

The Department of Science and Technology is responsible for advising on the development of digital infrastructure, data platforms, and solutions for connecting and sharing data to serve smart cities; researching and guiding the application of technical standards on information technology and digital transformation in urban management.

Meanwhile, the Department of Finance advises balancing and allocating public investment capital for related tasks and projects and also researches mechanisms for mobilizing social resources and public-private partnerships to develop smart cities.

The People's Committees of wards and communes are responsible for organizing the implementation of tasks at the local level, strengthening propaganda and encouraging people to participate in smart city applications, and coordinating the updating of data into the urban development database system as prescribed./.
