Tay Ninh inaugurates Provincial Innovation Center (Vietnamese)
Attending the event were members of the Party Central Committee, including Secretary of the Tay Ninh Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Van Quyet; Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council Nguyen Manh Hung; Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Le Van Han; and Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province Nguyen Thanh Hai, along with members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairpersons of the Provincial People’s Committee, leaders of Departments of Science and Technology from neighboring localities, and representatives of research institutes, universities, and enterprises.
Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Le Van Han emphasized that in 2026, Tay Ninh has set a target of achieving double-digit growth, focusing on the effective implementation of key resolutions of the Politburo, particularly Resolution No. 57 and Resolution No. 68, to create new momentum for rapid and sustainable development. The province identifies science and technology, innovation, and digital transformation as key drivers, and the establishment of the Innovation Center as a concrete step toward realizing these goals.
“The Center plays a vital role in effectively connecting the State, scientists, enterprises, and investors; promoting research, application, and technology transfer; supporting enterprises in technological innovation, improving productivity, quality, and competitiveness; and fostering the formation and development of the province’s innovation startup ecosystem,” he stated.
At the ceremony, the province introduced partner organizations accompanying the Innovation Center—important stakeholders in promoting research collaboration, technology transfer, and the development of high-quality human resources. Delegates performed the inauguration ritual and toured the exhibition area, working spaces, and functional rooms of the Center.
The Tay Ninh Provincial Innovation Center was established under Project No. 2638/DA-UBND dated December 15, 2025, with the objective of building a focal point to promote research, application, and technology transfer activities, while creating an effective coordination mechanism linking the State, research institutes, universities, enterprises, and investors.
The Center is not only a scientific and technological infrastructure project, but also a space for knowledge connection and innovation, supporting local enterprises in technological improvement, promoting digital transformation, incubating startup ideas, and commercializing scientific research results, thereby enhancing the competitiveness of the provincial economy in the context of integration and development.
On this occasion, the province also launched the “Science, Technology, Innovation and Digital Transformation Week of Tay Ninh 2026,” which will run until March 21, 2026, featuring a wide range of activities and events./.
